Holland & Barrett Folic Acid with Vitamin D is an ideal supplement for this purpose. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus. Folic Acid also has many additional benefits such as supporting normal blood formation, normal function of the immune system, normal cell division and it also contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
